Very reluctantly putting my Nimbus 3 up for
sale. 25.5M "Full Fat" version
(Ventus C Tips).
10th Place in the 2025 Open Class Nationals (It's beaten pretty much everything including 21m JS1's). 1st Place in Aston Down Regionals
This isn't just any Nimbus 3 - it's serial number 1. It was built for Klaus and was flown by the likes of Hans Werner Grosse, Helmut Reichmann, George Lee, Ralph Jones. Imported into the UK in 2000, Wings refinished in 2018 in PU, and Fuselage refinished in 2012 in Gelcoat. All paperwork available right back to the day it came out of the factory. Aileron Drives replaced 3 years ago, Water Bellow on Left Wing replaced this year.

Empty weight is 410kg. MTOW 750kg, I usually fly with 210L on board - it sits at 75kts all day long and will comfortably run with pretty much anything. Tanks and Ballasting Kit will be sold with it; 210kg loaded in 20min.
In spite of it's size, 3N is a simple aircraft to fly. Full conversion training and ongoing support will be given.
EUR39,900 ONO. I'm re-wiring the panel this winter and have a blank panel which hasn't been cut so fit can be modified to suit.
New glider has been identified so this really needs to go. Very reluctant sale - this glider has taught me how to fly cross country quickly.
