It is time for a new challenge and that is why, with pain in our hearts, that we choose to sell this one of a kind LS4b.
Owned by the owners of Glider-Equipment and Glider Pilot Shop, we put a lot of love in this glider to make it the best in the world in all aspects, and keep it in better than factory new condition without compromise.
The end of an era for me. This glider brought me a lot and taught me the full range of competition flying in club class over the years.
Topping off becoming 1st on my last competition as a junior, the European Championships in Prievidza this year.

The glider PU paint is in 10/10 condition.
Canopy fully crackfree.
All required AD’s/TN’s completed.
Complete technical administration available, well sorted and in good order.
We bought the glider in 2016 from the one and only Klaus Ohlmann (you can say this glider is a piece of history).
The years following, the glider received extensive work:
The glider was fully renovated:
- PU refinish and new cockpit repaint (together with small GFK repairs where required) 2017
- Wheel doors reworked 2017
- New lift pins 2017
- New canopy bushings 2017
- New CofG hook in 2018 (still 1900 launches till next overhaul)
- New sheep skins 2018.
- Control stick, gear lever, canopy metal parts, main bolts, rudder bracket and much more repainted in 2018
- All gas struts replaced 2019
- New Beringer wheel and brake system modification 2019
- Complete landing gear repainted, aswell as new rubber blocks 2019
- New instrumentpanel + new instruments 2019 (new wiring/cables, new hoses)
- New LS8 instrumentpanel + glareshield (Nextel painted) 2019
This is the only LS4b in the world which has this mod.
- Full 3M paint protection film on underside of nose and underside of fuselage. No paint damage on underside.
- Neo winglets 2021 (TM4049) performed at DG

I have flown over 10 different LS4’s, but the S4 is by far the best one of them in all aspects (handling, performance, quietness, etc).
The glider does not have a nose hook, for better ventilation and less noise (= less drag).
Roeger hook and tail pitot tube standard.
Registration and callsigns are stickers. Red decals are painted.
Water ballast system removed for Club class competitions but included in sale.
W&B made optimal for competitions. We can supply a tailbattery dummy if required.
For regard of damages. The glider had one hard landing damage in the far past way before we bought it.
Since the major overhaul, I have been the sole pilot who flew on it, roughly 400hrs in the last 5 years.

This glider is built for racing. Complete package and fully ready for EGC/WGC’s. No big maintenance required in the next 10-20 years.
We are only open to sell to pilots with competition ambitions, a good new home – no clubs.
The last 9 years the glider was stored inside our conditioned hangar. I practically only flew it for 3 to 5 weeks a year where the trailer/glider was outside. All still looks in better than factory new condition.
The glider is located in the Netherlands, EHSE, Breda International Airport, hangar 4 and can be viewed in our hangar.
