Glider:
The glider is in good overall condition.
The paint of the glider is still fine for its age. It has some marks just like any Libelle, but overall the Glasflugel paint is holding up very well.
Green tinted crackfree canopy (replaced in 2011).
This glider is quite special as it has one of the last built (new) Libelle Fuselages, dating 1976.
The fuselage and one complete wing were made new at Glasflügel after an outlanding damage. Therefore it has all the fuselage mods which the later serials have.
All required AD’s/TN’s completed.
Control surfaces sealed with mylar sealings and wings fitted with zigzag turbulator tapes for increased performance.
Aileron fences fitted on the inboard aileron side for increased roll stability and stability in straight flight.
Empty weight 212kg.
Fresh Arc dated Aug 2025, ready to fly.
The glider received the following bigger work over the last years:
- Control stick, brake lever and trim system repainted 2025
- Backrest adjustment repainted 2025
- Interior replaced 2024
- Complete landing gear repainted 2023
