"Glitter" covers are made of a special fabric that protects the canopy from scratches and dust but at the same time reflects sunlight, minimizing cockpit overheating .
The standard tissue covers offer adequate protection of the Plexiglas from dust or scratches, however their capacity to limit the overheating of the cockpit is rather limited.
The fabric of the "Glitter" cover combines the two characteristics in a single product.
This cover is suitable for all two-seater gliders except vintage gliders like ASK-13 or older.
